Our family could not be more pleased. It became apparent very quickly that your attention to detail, listening and professionalism were what made our choice of pool companies very easy. From the start, showing up on time, following through on promises, and orchestrating your team to perform flawlessly made the entire process fun and stress free.

I am extremely happy and fully satisfied with the work that The Pool Man performed. It is obvious that you have high standards for everyone connected with the construction process. I also appreciate the continued follow-up that has been since the completion of the pool and spa. The fact that someone from your company still stops by from time to time to check up on my satisfaction is unbelievable in this day and age.

Laurie Berry is AWESOME! We moved into our home with an existing pool. After a few years we realized we had to resurface the pool. I contacted 3 companies to get a quote. Laurie from the Pool Man showed up for the quote and immediately I knew I was going to pick her because she exuded trustworthiness; she built a relationship, she didn't mind my crazy dogs, and really listened to what we were trying to achieve.

For us, this was a major investment, but Laurie did not disappoint. For our job, we went with a resurface with Pebblesheen and new tiles and got the cracks in our decking fixed along and redone. We also had the existing flagstone coping and flagstone waterfall cleaned and sealed. From a design standpoint, we had selected some awful choices, but Laurie diplomatically helped us correct our choices.

She has experience and knows what works. Time and time again she proved that she knew what was best. She takes pride in the work that she does, talks you through the process and sets expectations well. With any sizeable project there are always minor items and Laurie has been there every step of the way. Was the Pool Man inc the cheapest bid I got? No.

But the value is immense as I had a company that stood by their work and showed pride in a job well done. I can honestly say that Laurie took as much pride in my home and my backyard oasis as I do. Let me just tell you that if you are in the market for a gorgeous, one of a kind custom pool, than this is the company to use! From the beginning the process was easy, fair pricing and timely installation. I need to specifically call out Bryan Murphy. He went above and beyond on many occasions to ensure everything was done properly and that I was taken care of. I would use them over and over again!

From the first time their designer Wes came out to discuss what we wanted to the final day they came to teach us everything about our new pool, the entire team was professional, patient, responsive, and respectful of our time. We had narrowed our search to two companies, but the reason we chose The Pool Man was because Wes was constantly asking questions and bringing up options and topics that we had not thought of.

He was patient as we made small design changes to the pool. even after they started digging. Every step of the way, they were communicating exactly what was going to happen, will happen, and had happened. Every concern we had was dealt with in a timely manner. Once the pool was done, they did not disappear. When we have questions about care and or how to operate equipment, they have been more than happy to stay on the phone with us to ensure that we have our questions thoroughly answered. We purchased our home six years ago with plans to add a pool before moving in. Who knew it was so complex! Our realtor had given us an unrealistic price point which is what we had in our minds when we started talking to contractors. As you will find out, there are tons of pool companies, and we spoke to several and researched more. Our criteria were 1) well-rated and 2) a long history.

Avoid one-person operations, startups, etc. We had worked with two different companies, but the stars never aligned. After Covid, the time was right to move forward again. We contacted the same company to continue the process, but after waiting two months, they said they were too busy to go with someone else. We researched companies knowing we wanted a quality build from a company that would stand behind their product.

That's where The Pool Man entered. They had done pools for several friends who were very happy. We chose two companies to provide detailed quotes and plans; The Pool Man is one. The other company was closer geographically, had a nicer showroom, and had a better price. Both were responsive. It came down to Wes for us; he tweaked our design so that it improved the functionality and form (aesthetic) with minor cost differences.

I don't want to understate how vital those design tweaks were to our decision. We also felt, from our conversations, that The Pool Man had the edge on experience, especially on in-floor systems. Wes exudes confidence and knowledge. We were also opting to build a pergola and rebuild the existing kitchen. The Pool Man, like other companies, works with a sub-contractor for those things.

We did not meet any of the other staff who would work on our pool before executing a contract. We had a few problems with the pool during our buildout, primarily related to project management, which was disappointing. The Pool Man recognized these issues and corrected them. Bryan, our PM, to finish the project was terrific. He was not only friendly and pleasant to talk to, but he's also precisely what you want in a PM, timely and organized.

He also really did care about the result of our pool. The PM is the day-to-day face of your pool construction, so you will be interacting with that person a lot. I recommend you meet them before making any decision. The important part is how our pool ended. The Pool Man exemplified the most crucial aspect any service company can have, going above and beyond to make everything perfect in the end.

The pergola and kitchen we constructed were tricky. We knew what we wanted, but it was unclear how it would be built until we opened up the walls. As an engineer, I had strong opinions about the buildout. Joel, the subcontractor, was excellent; he listened to my thoughts and worked hard to build as I wanted. He is knowledgeable and friendly, and he'll ultimately make it how you like-a fantastic experience.

We are now enjoying our pool and loving it, and due to Texas heat, we were glad we sprang for the Ultra-temp. If you have a full-sun pool, you might consider it for comfort in mid-summer. We are happy with The Pool Man, we know they stand behind their product, the quality of the installation is good, and the result was timely.

Had The Poolman remodel my 18 year old pool. Laurie Barry was excellent to work with. I did not want the typical travertine finish that is all the rage now. Laurie was great about designing just what I wanted. Good working relationship with all the trades/subcontractors. Kept me well informed about schedule. Bottom line, Laurie listens, communicates, and follows through to insure every detail no matter how small is completed correctly and that I was happy with final results. Thanks

I recently built my house and heard about The Pool Man. I spoke to Wes and he showed me a amazing 3D design of how my backyard would look with the pool. Then Jimmy was in charge of the building process and did a fantastic job and made sure everything was on schedule. Lastly Cody showed me in good detail how use the PCC2000 that helps keep the pool very clean. If you have any kind of pool problem I highly recommend The Pool Man.

Wow! What a great experience with The Pool Man. Following an initial meeting to exchange ideas and options, Wes presented us with a fabulous custom design that made full use of our available space while providing just the right balance of features and aesthetics. Bryan, our superintendent, took over from there and truly did an outstanding job in taking our pool from design to completion. Bryan maintained excellent communications with us throughout the project and was always available to answer questions.

While being both friendly and very knowledgeable, Bryan ensured all aspects of the job were well coordinated and executed, which allowed our pool to be completed and fully operational in about 7 weeks from start to finish, more than 2 months ahead of schedule. The Pool Man seamlessly integrated a few change orders from us during construction with no issues, allowing us to make minor adjustments to achieve the exact finished project that we desired.

After completion, The Pool Man provided us with a detailed pool school, and then stayed in touch with us to ensure there were no issues with pool operations and final inspections. All went very smoothly. The in-floor cleaning system offered through The Pool Man is fantastic, so be sure to ask about it. I have never had a pool with such low maintenance requirements.

The lighted water bowls also add a great deal of beauty and character, well worth the cost. If you are looking for a custom pool builder that is trustworthy, friendly and provides a great product at a competitive price, then I highly recommend The Pool Man. I especially recommend Bryan as a superintendent if he is available. He is the best.

If you're looking to get a custom pool built and want excellent service from start to finish, then look no further than the Pool Man! We, like many others, decided we wanted a pool with our house during Covid. We looked at several different builders before deciding on the Pool Man. We had seen many neighbors deal with problems while building pools over the past year.

Many companies dug the pools without finishing gunite, leaving massive holes in their yards for months. Others had delays in materials caused by supply chain issues that left their backyards a mess for 6 months at a time. The Pool Man's process from design to build was painless. Supplies were ordered and received before construction started, alleviating any potential delays from that end.

They also made sure to schedule the gunite well before construction started, so once our pool was dug it wasn't long after that it was structurally reinforced and well on it's way to being finished. From the design, price, construction schedule, etc, we've been very happy with our pool from the Pool Man. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to build their backyard oasis!

My new pool construction with Pool Man Inc finished late last year and the final result is amazing! We chose Pool Man based on recommendations, as well as the great upfront design process we had with Wes Colby. We also had a great experience through the pool build with Jimmy Bullock as the supervisor. During construction, Jimmy's daily communication was detailed and timely so we knew exactly what was taking place each step of the way. Daniel and Cody ensured we knew how to care for the pool and equipment during pool school. After two months of use, I can testify that the in-floor cleaning system, UV and ozone systems allow us to safely use less chlorine for a more gentle and comfortable water experience while ensuring hands-free cleaning and effective sanitation.

This company has a team of dedicated professionals who can service any problem! They absolutely bent over backwards to restore my pool even though I was a new customer and it was the peak season. They promised sparkling water and they delivered. Their cleaning service has kept it in pristine condition and makes sure we get ahead of needed maintenance. On top of this everyone who works there is sincere and caring, they respond promptly to any request and explain everything that needs to be done!

Every chance we get, we're outside enjoying our own little piece of paradise. From sales/design with Wes, to building and project managing with Steven, working with The Pool Man was a pure joy. They listened to our needs and wants, shared their expertise and now we have an amazing resort-like feel in our backyard. We decided on the in-floor cleaner and it's been amazing. The Pool Man installed our pool almost two years ago. During the building things were handled very professionally and concerns were addressed right away. Since then there's been a little issue here or there but the company is always super responsive and gets things taken care of right away. Our friends that have used other pool builders often have horror stories to tell but we have nothing but good things to say about The Pool Man.
