The company was founded in the spring of 1980. We were originally located in an old barn in south Chico, owner Terry Larocco ran the business literally out of the back of his pick-up truck for the first three years. The business went on to open a retail outlet that displayed a pool and a couple of spas and a modest supply of chemicals and pool products. The company has grown and re-located twice since then and we are now proudly operating in 6, 000 square foot building occupying nearly a one half city block on the corner of Park Ave. and 20th Street. This family business has evolved over the years, but has still been able to keep its small business feel while supplying the best in quality and service to our customers.

Disappointed in the service and not a person that leaves negative reviews. Several pool repairs needed to be completed with a reasonable quote. The first repair was partially completed. After I received the first bill, I contacted the office and received a call back from the manager. He did not realize the work had not been completed and assured me the work would be done; I paid bill one once the crew showed up.
I received the second bill which is now over the original quote and work still not completed. I have cameras and was charged for labor ($650.00) which included hours of time not working. I have made several calls to square up my bill and to get the work completed. The receptionist indicates that the manager will call me back yet, after 6 messages and over 2 months of calls, no call back. Disappointing.

They staff are knowledgeable and helpful when I am in store but there are not so good about following up. I special ordered one part several months ago and they never called back after placing the order. I tried getting info on another special order and they called back once to answer one of my questions. I asked a follow up question to which they said they would get back to me on. I waited a week, called back and someone told me they would call back. Waiting another week and still nobody has called back.

Strongly recommend Leslie's, not this business. I got charged for hours of service that their tech was supposedly out for, when in fact it was less than 20 minutes. I got charged for 3 hours. Was told about 5 or 6x that that was definitely not right and they'd have a manager contact me ASAP. no one ever did, but rather left me with a huge bill to pay.
The worst part is that they didn'teven fix the issue they came out to fix. I did! Go with Leslie's Pool and Supply and they will definitely help you out. I'll be contacting BBB about this incident as well as reviewing on yelp too.

We bought a floor model hot tub from Perfection a year ago and it was great but started having a lot of problems. We reached out to Tenaya who handled the entire issue with professionalism and determination. Since we were still within the warranty period Perfection was able to go to bat for us with the vendor and get a replacement installed for us, not an easy feat but that's exactly why we like to business locally.
We know the chance of a problem is high with any purchase and having the ability to call or email Tenaya and get a response right away was so calming. Her attention to the issue definitely kept the stress down when we couldn't otherwise de-stress in the hot tub. Happy to do business locally!

We checked out a few places in town and thank goodness we landed here! We experienced the best customer service from the store to delivery and back to the manager! Super friendly, very knowledgable and timely! Thank you for making our experience so enjoyable as first time spa owners! Now the real fun begins!

The pool turned out beautiful when they finished but he wasnt even going to move the stairs and clean under them so my husband did. The receptionist was decieving on the phone when she charged me an upfront figure and said it doesnt include chemicals.the bill has about 100$ worth of chemicals and an additional almost 400$ in labor. It was a one time cleaning!

Had them come out for a couple of calls. Both times, I asked them to meet me there to show them the issue. Every occasion, they has someone show up when I wasn't there and misdiagnosed the issue. I had to call them to find out when they were coming, only to tell me they had already checked it out. I had a leak in one of the valves, which I wanted to show them, which emptied my pool down to the skimmer, when I asked the technician what he thought the problem was, he told me that the water level in my pool was too low for the pump to operate and told me just to add water. Wow, I literally was left speechless. I asked to reschedule another appointment a year ago and never heard from them again, btw they charged me both times also. Never again, stay away.

I have had a wonderful experience with Perfection Pools. I have had nothing but problems with my pool with the past companies I have used. I called Perfection and I am so glad I did. My pool has never been so beautiful, and my family can finally use it again. They were able to troubleshoot my pump system and get that running, and they even found a leak and repaired it!
They were very timely, professional and affordable. I had one point of contact over there who was familiar with my pool and took care of everything for me. I highly recommend them if you are looking to have someone get your system up and running at it's best, or if you are just looking to have a beautiful pool.

Twice now I have attempted to get service from them and they said it would be 4-5 business days. On day 5 I called and they said "they would do their best to get someone there" and would not give me an estimate. The issue seems to be that their retail side and repair side seem to have a big disconnect. The retail side answers the phone but is not able to give an accurate estimate because they don't schedule the repair people. The repair side does the scheduling but does not answer the phone. Very frustrating.
