We still have an unfinished pool. The contract said they would be complete in February 2022 and nobody has done any work on our pool since early March. It has been 3 months since any work was done on our pool.

Wonderful team. Highly recommend. Warranty work just as easily scheduled as new business.

Hired Mission Pools to build me a in- ground rectangular pool in Coronado. In short, they started, but were unable to complete the excavation. They appeared to cheap out on the excavation phase which is typically a costly phase in the build process, by using unqualified personnel. I terminated the contract with mission pools and hired San Diego Pools. San Diego Pools visited the site and excavated and built my pool with no issues - drama free. Buyer Beware - Do your homework.

I needed to get the air bubbles checked in our year old pool that was built by mission pools. I have to say, Kevin and Desiree on the service team are AMAZING. Such a great company.

We contracted with Mission Pools in July of 2020 to put a pool in our backyard at the recommendation of our general contractor. There were a couple of missteps at the beginning and the project took longer than expected. But our salesperson Chris and the construction project manager Dave did everything in their power to get the project back on track and finished.

As we approached the Thanksgiving holiday they pulled out all the stops and worked on Saturday and Sunday to finish up so that we could use the pool during the holiday weekend. The end result is beautiful. We are very happy.

Dawn helped design our pool and came out to our house several times, she was very patient with our questions and modifications. Ty was an excellent PM and was constantly checking up on each crew. They were all very easy to work with plus the back office employees were always professional and competent. We love our pool! They are probably not the cheapest pool company but we are glad that we paid for the excellent craftsmanship and professionalism.

Our pool was put in about 5 years ago. At the time the pool was finally complete, I would have given the experience with Mission 3 stars. The process itself was long and arduous, started in June and we finally were able to swim in December. Our main gripe is with how everything was subcontracted. It opened up too many ways for Mission to hand us off when we experienced issues.

After just two years, we noticed that our plaster was getting very coarse, cutting up the kids feet after just a few hours. Ripping bathing suits after sitting in the spa, etc. We reached out to Mission, still under warranty, and they forwarded us on to the company that they had do the plaster. After finally getting someone after a few weeks of calls, they checked the warranty and said they would send someone out to sand the plaster. (quick side note. we now know that this isn't something that you should do, it makes it worse, and a few pool companies we've talked to since, even said it might not be legal).

On year 3, same thing, only this time, the company ignored us, and never got back to us. Now, 5 years in, we've learned more about the issue as we talk to other companies. The issue with the plaster can't be fixed. We have to have someone rip it all out, and re-plaster. I know every job is different. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesn't, but I would not recommend this company to anyone. They've tried to shirk and dodge every issue we've had, both during and after the project.

Please ask your drivers NOT to block sidewalks with their work trucks. I am in a wheelchair and every time the truck is parked there, I have to find a way around it and it's dangerous because the street is very busy.

Probably not a good idea to drive around with your business on you car when you're not paying attention driving 40 mph in a parking lot and almost run a little kid over. Pay attention

Billy from Mission Pools came by today to perform maintenance on our two pool heaters. He was very thorough and was great at explaining his work. He left the pool heaters looking and running like new. I would recommend Mission Pools and Billy for any pool maintenance one may have.

I was recommended Mission Pools by my neighbor who gave me Cheryl's card. I called Cheryl and left a message, no response. Sent a quote request through their website, no response. Called the office and told them that I had left messages and sent a quote request and was told that someone would call me back to set up an appointment and again no response. I guess they don't want my business.

I wanted to write an updated review. Mission Pools sent a different designer (Robert Laverty) to come out and to discuss and review options. I found him to be very friendly and professional. He provided me with a detailed estimate and answered all of my questions. He wore a mask and followed COVID precautions. Very happy with my experience the second time around.

As new home buyers we were in the market to build a pool. After asking around Dawn Ridgeway from Mission Pools came highly recommended to us from a friend. When we contacted Dawn she came out to review our backyard for a possibility of a pool. For someone who has never built a pool before, she answered all of our questions and listened to all of our ideas and suggestions.

In short time we were meeting with Dawn to review her design of our pool that met all of our wants including a baja shelf and a table inside the pool. The construction of our pool was completed on time and exceeded our expectations. We could not be more pleased with our pool and HIGHLY recommend Dawn Ridgeway and the entire team at Mission Pools for anybody in the market who's looking to build a pool. THANK YOU! Mike and Kristi

Mission Pools has a genuine initial-contact problem. We reached out for a quote via the website because they were recommended by River Flow swim systems to us. We indicated we were serious buyers and ready to purchase. Found an email on their site and reached out to that also. We received a call from Tony on June 15 (sales guy on commission) and scheduled for June 22. Tony called the morning of June 22 to say he forgot he had to take his car in for service and could come the next day. Tony showed up on June 23, 2020.

Quickly surveyed our property within 30 minutes, wasn't very creative or innovative with design questions, said he worked on commission and had to jet to another appmt, said he would get to our design eventually bc he could only work on the design at night due to not having childcare during the day. That was the last time we heard from Tony or anyone from Mission Pools. It's August 15, 2020 and we never got a quote, a design, a callback. Nothing. It's like Tony and Mission Pools was never here.

No one from Mission Pools followed up to see how our initial meeting went, Tony disappeared. Funny enough when he came out we asked him why he wasn't one of the old men shown on the Mission Pools sales page. He said he'd been with the company a few years already and didn't know why he wasn't featured. Mission Pools says it's all about tradition and customer experience on the page but this is far from the truth. First impression, lasting impression.

We called Mission Pools after my husband was told that there was nothing a serviceman from another pool maintenance company could do to resuscitate our old pump other than to replace it. COVID-19 hit our business hard and we could not afford to buy a new pump and filter system at this time and that pool is my husband's only thing that he enjoys. Dan came out and moved a couple of levers and voila! a functioning pump. Fixed it on the spot and helped get us the parts my husband needs to maintain the pool. And he did this at a time when they are absolutely swamped with 'real business'. We are very appreciative.

We recently installed a pool in Rancho Penasquitos. We were very happy with the installation of the pool, Johnny and his team did a great job. They put in alot of time and effort to get the job done considering we had a lot of rain during the time frame of our installation. He has answered our numerous phone calls and has constantly checked up on us.

The salesmen Bob never followed up on the status of our pool, if we were happy etc and some promises were made that weren't never keep. He did an awesome design for our pool but follow up would have been appreciated

Their follow up is awful. Calling trying to get hold of someone, leaving messages, no follow up. Can't get a quote or hear back from anyone. My job is a full yard, pool build that will be in the $150k to $175k range and their service is terrible. If it's this bad when they are trying to impress and win your business, you will twist in the wind if you need to reach someone during a project if there is a problem. No thanks.

Perfection! Every step of the process from choosing Mission pools to build our spa to completion was perfect We had Mission build a pool and spa for us in the 90s and we were extremely happy then. We moved to a new home in Escondido and wanted a large in ground spa built. We got 5 different bids. Mission wasn't the highest or the lowest but we knew they would be the most reliable company to go with.

If you want a company that will always communicate every step of the process, follow through on everything that was promised and never leet you down choose Mission Pools. Every sIngle team member consistently impressed us. From Dawn in sales to Travis and Ty as our project manager to Jesus in set up to everyone in scheduling, every single person was courteous professional and knowledgeable. We are so beyond happy with the choice to have Mission build our project.

We finished our pool and spa with Mission last month. We continue to have great customer service. We started the process with Brad and our designer, Tony. They both did a great job helping us come up with a design to fit our budget and answer our tons of questions. Tony picked out our tile, and nailed it. We wanted something gray, and not blue like a lot of pools, and we love it.

The real star of our project was our PM, Travis Dunn. He was reliable, knowledgeable, and even now, continues to impress us with great customer service. We decided after starting to use the spa that the light was too bright. We mentioned it to our pool service tech, Jesus (who is also great!), and now just a week later, Travis came by and installed a dimmer. We are just super impressed with Mission Pools all around, and so excited about our new backyard.
