Im not easily impressed but wanted to share that Pablo, the salesperson who helped me from step one of our hot tub purchase was amazing. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful in every way. As far as customer service goes this place offers a top notch experience. This was my first hot tub purchase and I was a bit intimidated at first not knowing what to ask but he walked me through it step by step.

Like most Pool and spa owners in North Texas, we sustained damage to both, caused by power outages during the 'big freeze'. It took months to find anyone to come out, every business was swamped with work. Anyway, Gohlke Pools agreed to come out and assess the damage. Their technician, Angelo, came out and gave us a quote for Pool equipment repairs, and a replacement Spa.

Very friendly, very punctual, and able to answer any and all questions. Once we approved to work Angelo came back, again very punctual, and made the repairs. The pool runs great again. As for the replacement Spa, everyone was sold out, or on back order. Mathew at Gohlke was great to deal with. He got us a Spa ordered, took about a month to get here, such was the demand, but he kept us up-to-date at every turn.

Once they had it in stock Mathew arranged to have it fitted the very next day, and the old Spa removed and dumped. Is so good to have them both working again as they should. Service for us was highly professional, very courteous throughout, and there every time you had a question or concern. Very pleased with the service and outcome. Definitely recommend for your Pool and Spa repairs.

Jodie and his helper (think his name was Mike) were fantastic. Jodie had our problem fixed within 15 minutes. He was on time and very courteous and knowledgeable. I definitely would recommend Gohlke Pools because of my experience with Jodie.

I can't say enough great things about the service technician, 'Tim' from Gohlke who came out today and solved an issue in about 30 minutes that has baffled 6 other Company's technicians for months on end. He was extremely professional, thorough, knew exactly what he was doing, and even took time to show me a few things that I can be doing to help keep the pool running efficiently, and delay future repairs. I'll definitely be using Gohlke moving forward! Thanks guys!

First, I want to thank Gohlke Pools for being responsive to my needs. We moved in almost 2 years ago and never had a problem with our pool until Sunday when the pump wouldn't turn on. We have a saltwater pool, so it's imperative that it run approx 10 hours per day in this heat to convert chlorine. Pooltroopers services our pool and I had left a. not for the Pool Tech to call me last Friday when he came out.

They send an email showing that they have been there and status of your pool, including a photo of your pool. He didn't call me and his work bucket was in the photo probably 2 feet from where I had left the pool pda and note. I called Cust Svc to see why he didn't call me as I had.

Eli does an excellent job testing water making recommendations and selling pool supplies. We also use Gohlke for onsite pool maintenance, Chris and team are very attentive to our pool that Gohlke installed! Recommend Gohlke!

I have been to this pool store 3 times now. They never disappoint. Today I stopped I. After going to 3 other pool stores to get a replacement part. The folks at Gohlke are the only ones to take the time to find what I needed. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the employees are super courteous! One employee (Travis) came out to check my equipment at my home as a courtesy call. It started to pour down rain just as he arrived and yet he did what he came to do! The owner and manager should stand proud! You have my business for sure.

This place is the consummate provider of customer service. Even during holiday weeks. Never been sorry we pick Gohlke for our pool. The retail team is awesome in the store also!

They've done a great job on our pump and filter replacements this last year. It's an older pool, so we knew it would need work and they've nailed it every time!

Being new pool owners, Gohlke Pools has been wonderful! Due to #snovid2021 we had a lot of damage to our newly acquired pool and thankfully, they were able to get us up and running! Grayson, our route manager has taken plenty of time to help us understand everything and make sure we are efficiently keeping our pool clean and safe. He has never. tired of my endless questions and always makes sure I'm comfortable before moving on to the next house. We are excited for our first summer with the pool and confident it will be picture perfect thanks to Grayson and his guys.

I have been horribly disappointed with pool comics in the past. Golke has changed that. Their employees are always courteous and knowledgeable. The guys who have come out to work on my equipment have always been competent and patient with my questions- always will to teach me about what they are doing. Yes, they may be a tad more expensive than some of the others, but well worth it. They are good without having to push the big "up sell".

Gohlke built our pool in 2009, have done all the maintenance and cleaning since then and re-plastered this year. Throughout all these years they have been professional and friendly. They hire well. The techs are knowledgeable and really work as a team to handle issues when they arise and if you own a pool you know, that's a lot. I have to give a special shout out to Nick Day.

He was in service and has now moved into design but has still kept up with us and consistently helped out. If you're considering a pool, redesign or just maintenance and service they are the best in North Texas.

We have had a real challenge keeping our pool balanced the past couple of weeks with this really hot August weather. First let me say that everyone that I have talked with or have had contact with has been friendly and really seems to care about my pool problems. Had problems with vacuum pressure and DE returning to my pool when backwashing. Angelo came out found the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. A couple days later the same problem occurred. Angelo came back out looked at everything and said that everything was running correctly. Told and showed him what I have been doing (which of course was wrong). Without making me feel like a complete fool, he took the time to explain everything I was doing wrong and showed me correct easiest way. He was very polite and professional.

Matt Gohlke. Gohlke Pools built my pool past summer. Started off on the wrong foot because the sales guy boasted they were one of the few companies that use all 1/2" rebar. Rebar is getting installed and not. all the rebar was 1/2" and not installed per what was contract as he boasted about. There was also an area that didnt look secure. I have a ME degree but not a rebar guy so I asked, is this right?

The rebar company owner shows up the next morning to inspect and agreed is was not right and fixed both concerns right away. Base material for the travertine deck was called out on the contract. A truck shows up with the wronge material, no project manager on site so I turned them way. I called.

Love this place.everyone is helpful, plus popcorn and soda. The showroom is great and they have a great selection of everything. The water test they do are spot on and the recommendations they give me. always fixes my pool chemistry. Had issues with the hot tub we bought from them and it was taken care of fast. Thanks to the advice and recommendations they give me my pool is always crystal clear and sparkling.

Gohlke Pools I have to say from our first meeting to discuss our new pool build by far they have the best customer service. Listening to the customer, respectful, kind and always answers you back via phone or email. Anytime we needed our pool expert he was always their for us no matter what time of day. Gohlke adds $3000-3500 to build in Celina, so we canceled our appointment. The sales representative explained via text message this is due to their vendors adding on for the commute. I would expect the pool company to absorb the cost or build it in to their overall pricing like other vendors, especially when the project is over $100k! I feel like the sales rep didn't want to make the drive out. There are too many pool companies in the DFW area to deal with this!

We've used Gohlke for the last 3 1/2 years for all of our pool needs. Everything from service, repairs, to water testing and general advice. The retail in store service is great. Our repairs and on site service have been great as well. The only hiccup is possibly due to us being a little farther out from Denton. Sometimes on site service/repairs don't happen at the time we were expecting.

This is our first pool. We got quotes from 4 different builders. Gohlke was not the lowest price but the service was beyond what we could have expected. From design to build to education every step of the process with Gohlke was a pleasurable experience. We have recommended Gohlke to all of our friends and neighbors! Our pool is a true backyard oasis. Gohlke is the BEST!

This is the only service provider we have had since installing our pool. They come test chemicals, and add what is needed. Typically, we're not home when they are here, but they always leave us a door hanger saying what was low, and what was added. What we pay Gohlke Pools for this service versus what we were paying on our own for chemicals, getting to a store to buy chemicals, plus peace of mind (are we testing correctly) is 100% worth it to have their service.

We have never had any issues with this company. They show up when they are scheduled, and answer any concerns we have. Have to give a shout out to our service tech Chris - we appreciate your service. Thank-You Very Much!

We tried to like Gohlke pools, we really did. After giving them chance after chance for about a year, we finally had to let them go this month. One of our issues with our previous cleaning company (our builder's) was that they only spent a total of 4 minutes cleaning our pool and that included testing our water and adding chemicals. When I initially met with Dale, I believe, I STRESSED that I wanted a service company who would spend more time on our pool, especially with brushing.

I was assured that my pool would receive 20-45minutes per cleaning and that my walls and tile line would be cleaned at every service. Things started off great and we were pleased but it all changed shortly after that. Our cleaner was changing every other week and we weren't getting any consistency in the level of service we were being provided.

During one cleaning, I noticed from one of my security cameras that the guy was only in my backyard for a few minutes and sure enough, when I went outside there was still dirt on my steps/benches and the pool didn't look clean at all. I called to let Gohlke I was dissatisfied and they sent the cleaner back out to brush again. After he arrived, it was clear he was furious about it.

Being a SAHM, it was very disturbing to have an angry pool cleaner in my backyard acting very aggressively while re-cleaning my pool, knowing that I was the one who he was probably upset at. It was terrifying, actually. I reported him and even sent in video and was just told by Gohlke that they "would talk to him." They started to send out different cleaners every week and a few months later, we got a great cleaner for several weeks. Then, a different cleaner and our pool was suddenly suffering again.

He was not at all friendly, spent about 10 minutes at our house, most of that in his truck in our driveway. Considering that I was was paying consistently, I called again and let them know that the service was not up to par and all we wanted was the same level of service from everyone Gohlke was sending to our home. I was told by Colten again that "we're sorry, but we've never gotten complaints about him." and just a general sense that we were getting a brush off. Again.

Our final straw was when the next week, the new cleaner left a valve open and unbeknownst to us, water was spewing out directly on our pool equipment and landscape lighting boxes for several hours, shorting them out. Luckily, we were paying attention and noticed immediately when our lights didn't come on and we were able to close the valve before it froze that night.

We are now in the process of finding a new company, especially one where we don't feel like we're are being given a bait-and-switch like we feel we received from Gohlke. We would never recommend them to anyone and would encourage anyone with a pool cleaner and cameras to check them once in a while. Colten even admitted to me that sometimes the cleaners would spend time in their trucks to make it look like they had cleaned longer when that was NOT the case.

Like I mentioned before, we were expected to pay our bill consistently every week and it's completely acceptable to expect the same service in return. It never feels good to feel like you are just throwing away your money and sadly, that's how we felt with Gohlke.

Great customer Service! Bob, the manager lives close to us, so he came and took a look at everything and took pictures, took to his service department, got a game plan. Seth, the service guy came out to my house on a Saturday, with all possible parts to fix my problem. Denton is 1 1/2 hours from where we live! I called 4 different pool service companies close to me and could never get a return phone call or a follow up for service. Seth even repaired my backwash pipe without me even bringing it to his attention! These guys got the job done! I highly recommend their service!

We had them remodel our pool last Spring, and add on to our patio. The beginning of the process was great. As soon as they started the remodel it was rushed and not done very well at all. They used charcoal grout to fill in two area's of our spa that we never asked them to do and the grout that is already there is an off white color so you can imagine what that looks like.

They left areas of the grout not filled in at all which means there are holes that are wide open. As for the add on of the patio, it is awful. The pebbles don't match at all, the cement did not settle correctly so there are chinks in the cement missing. It is not even so the water settles and just sits next to the house when it rains, it is sloped so when you are sitting on the couch it is at a very deep slant. We are VERY disappointed in our pool remodel. I would NOT recommend anyone to use them.

I cannot recommend this company enough. I have used them for weekly maintenance and repairs. They are local, reliable, knowledgeable. I have used several other companies over the years that basically turned out to be very dishonest about repairs, problems, chemical usage. Never a problem with this company. I especially recommend Blake V. as a weekly maintenance professional. He has been very attentive to some arising problems that since was caught early saved me BIG money. (pump).

Gohlke installed our pool about 6 years ago! They were accommodating with design as we had a certain style in mind. They've always worked with us on pool servicing and are consistent when scheduled. If we ever run into any trouble, they are out fast and they keep our pool operating perfectly. Yes, we've had to replace some things in the time we have had the pool, normal wear & tear, but I trust their staff to make the best possible recommendations. Yay, Gohlke!

We LOVE Gohlke pools! I've been using them for 2 years now since moving to Denton. Bought a house with a pool that I knew NOTHING about! They have been MOST helpful with my phone calls with questions, and have had the best service when I've needed them out. With the heavy rains this last May, my backyard would flood into the pool several times and created swamps.

They shocked it and cleaned the cartridge filters as needed (too many times!)and I finally learned how to do it myself to save $$. The pool service techs who come out are courteous and professional. I will always appreciate their exemplary service this spring when my pool was a constant disaster from the flooding!

I frequently but my pool supplies and parts here. I notice that my favorite pool guy isn't here anymore. I miss the manager named Bob. They need to bring him back! He was so knowledgable and extremely helpful in getting my pool back up and running. Need more employees like him!

If you want someone to build you a beautiful pool then call Golke. If you want someone to maintain your pool (Pool service) then run screaming from Golke. They're the worst pool service company I have ever dealt with. They don't show up but still bill you for the trip. They're employees just sweep your pool and leave the pool equipment in service mode with the door swinging open in the wind.

I dumped Golke and went with Larsen Pools (out of Denton). When they got there they said the pool was in terrible condition (they thought I was maintaining it). PH levels off, almost no salt in the pool (its salt water). Gohlke was just dumping chlorine tablets in so mold wouldn't grow. Their employees don't show up sometimes and when you complain they claim they have GPS tracking that shows they went to your house (even if you sat home all day and no one showed up). Terrible, terrible terrible. Avoid their pool service at all costs.
