Casual Living Pools

A large family that has been customers for over 20 years, our pool was installed buy them. We had our last pool for 20 years with no issues one year into this new pool the liner is torn. For a week they lied to our faces. When confronted they blew their lid and were extremely inappropriate and spoke very aggressively in front of other customers. They've lost lifetime customers.

Chris is the best! Always happy to help and knows what he's doing. Whenever I have a pool issue he's all over it. Thank you!

Helpful and generally good store except check prices carefully and I've sometimes found them out of whack. Good if you need super high quality and expertise but not always a good value for normal supplies and parts.

Time came for a new liner and they helped me through contacting the company for my warranty coverage and got me on the schedule early. Once on site all the workers were super nice and diligent in getting the job done. INCLUDING Cleaning up after themselves!

I've been dealing with this family business for over thirty nine years! Never had an unpleasant dealing with Tom, Chris or any of his crew. Anytime I had a problem (which was only a few times) he or someone that works there came to check it out and solved it! Best pool place in the capital district. Always courteous and they actually feel like family because of how friendly they all are!

I recommend this family owned business highly and wouldn't go anywhere else for supply's or correct information on taking care of your pool. They are always ready to help and serve! Thanks Casual Living for all you've done for us through the years!

My husband stopped in to ask a question about a new cartridge for the filter of our pool, as well as a question about chemicals to use. The man that was there was extremely rude and did not give him the time of day after he found out that we didn't buy the filter through them. His responses were rude and unprofessional. He couldn't even answer simple questions about weekly chemicals to use in the pool.

We will never give this place business again. The date he went was 6/26/20. I hope the manager takes care of the situation and deals with workers that clearly shouldn't be working with the public.

Service is unbelievable! They are so nice and don't upcharge anything you don't want or need. They opened our pool for the first time this year and it was perfect. High quality hometown business. I will continue to support local!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free water testing and report printout with recommendations. If you test decently enough, they won't try to sell you anything unnecessary, which I certainly appreciate. Chemical prices are a bit higher than online, which is to be expected. In my mind it's well worth the extra few bucks to make sure you get the job done right.
