Horrible customer service! They charge you for products and services they did not do or use! The manager or owner Chris is rude and only cares about overcharging you. He will basically tell you that you still have to pay even though you have proof that his staff did not use all the products they charged you for. Had to buy a part over the summer and they charge 4 times more than what it really costs. They nickel and dime you for everything. Not worth it!

Do not use Buckeye Pools. Terrible customer service! They lie about what kind of service they do to your pool. Charge you extra for things they didn't even use. Charge extra for service they didn't even do! The manager or owner Chris is very rude and basically scams you to pay more money. I don't mind paying if they actually do what they are suppose to do and use products that they charge you for.

POOL IT SELF IS A NICE PURCHASE. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND BE READY TO SPEND A LOT MORE $$$ ONCE THINGS START GOING WRONG WITH YOUR BUCKYE POOL. BUCKYE CHARGES ALL MOST DOUBLE TO REPLACE LIGHTS, PAINTING IS ALMOST DOUBLE ONCE PAINT HAS WORE FROM THE CONCRETE. I SUGGEST SHOPPING ELSE WHERE FOR PARTS AND MAINTENANCE IF NEEDED ON YOUR POOL.

We schedule a year in advance for opening and closing and have had good service. This year our guy did a fantastic job. The technicians are always good but this guy was a pro. We have the diamond brite finish and it failed in the beginning so they came out and removed the finish and redid the entire pool for free. They do stand by their pools

Critical: Quality Pool has cracks in concrete walls and floor. Constant repair on buckeye pool poor built pools. A huge nightmare and very costly at that as well

I want to say THANK YOU. My pool motor went out when Buckeye was opening my pool and had to order the part, I was planning a Gender Reveal party for my daughter that weekend when this unexpected pool problem happened and I didn't want to have an ugly green pool as the backdrop for the party. Buckeye got the part in and even on a rainy day they squeezed me in and got it fixed. It may seem like a small thing but for us it was HUGE. Thank you for the quick responsiveness and knowing how important this was to us, the personal touch means everything.

I refuse to even rate them, but I had to in order to post this. I have been trying to get a quote from them and they appear as if they do not want MY business at all. I 1st called back in April. I left a message and never received a call back. I figured it was due to COVID. I only reached out to them 1st because I just purchased a home and it has an in-ground pool that Dayton Pools originally installed.

I had been informed to reach out to them because Buckeye bought out that company and is supposed to stand behind their work. I reached back out in early May and a receptionist answered the phone. She instantly appeared as if she would not be able to assist before I could even explain. I left it alone and tried back a few week later. The receptionist finally took my information and asked me to send some pictures and she would forward them over to their contracting department.

She also informed me if they could do the work they were about 3 week behind. NEVER heard back. I reached out to another company. They were very eager to see if they could assist. The lady instantly scheduled someone to come out for me. After Nu Wave kindly came out to see if they could help me get it started they suggested due to the condition of the pool I should just start over and Buckeye should be able to stand behind their work.

Because their company just dose minor repair and pool openings and closings, he suggested I reach back out to Buckeye. So I did. I spoke to the receptionist again and she told me the person I needed to speak to was busy and could not talk at the time. She took my information and said he would get back to me. This was Friday. He called me Monday morning and he instantly had a tone that was not very pleasant, eager, or inviting.

I already knew he did not want MY business. He kept stating it would be about $45K or more.he said this about 3 times as if I could not afford it. So I as continue to ask to schedule an appointment for an estimate, he then states that they would not be able to get to you until NEXT FALL of 2021. I kindly told him I refuse to speak to him because he wasted my valuable time then I hung up.

I see they like to pick and choose with who they service. I will make sure I share this experience EVERYWHERE.they must not know who I am :- and this is the JOY I have in it. I will never support this company.

"CUSTOMER SERVICE". This is a term that is becoming extinct in our society just like the dinosaurs. I just recently purchased a pool & I am looking for a pool place to get familiar with since I will be making purchases on a regular basis during peak pool. I called and asked a simple question about purchasing products and because I did not already have a history of purchases with this location, the lady sounded like she had no time for me.

When she asked, "Did we install it?" Once I said no, she was done with me. I called another location and the guy gave me the answer I needed and gained a new lifetime customer. Buckeye Pools, no thanks

This company has new ownership (Chris is the manager) and have been terrible to deal with. Customer service is terrible and they are more interested in making money on new pool installs than servicing existing customers. They have repeatedly treated us horribly and actually argued with us on the phone. Is the customer always right?, or never right?.Said they were gonna order things for us and then a couple months later gave excuses why they haven't done so.

If you pick this company, good luck. They seem to pick their pricing out of the air and round up quotes to the nearest hundred dollar amount. Don't believe this post, please give them a try and you won't hear me say "I told ya so".

Contacted Buckeye Pools today after months of mistreatment by another pool company and was impressed by the responsiveness and care shown. I spoke with Chris, who walked through what might be happening with our equipment and he was courteous and happy to get us on the schedule to send someone out to see what's happening. The interactions I had today make me feel like I can trust Buckeye and I'm happy to do business with them in the future.

DON'T USE BUCKEYE POOL! They were horrible. They were supposed to open our pool and spa, they left without opening my spa and when I asked them questions about the pool, he told me to just youtube it. I complaint to the manager Chris, he was like it's an extra charge when you want a consult. I said, so if I asked questions, I would need to pay more? He said "yes and I need to schedule a different time for it" Not only the manager was not apologetic, he didn't seem like he cared at all. I will never use them again!
